State Rep. Enrique Sanchez, D-R.I., posted a message to ICE on X Wednesday that included profanity and referenced a "day of reckoning."
"Fighting and dealing with ICE since last year has f----- me up in the head after trying to protect and defend hundreds and hundreds of our community members in Providence and across Rhode Island. Your day of reckoning will come mother------," he wrote.
The post came as federal immigration enforcement has intensified under the Trump administration, with DHS citing increased arrests of undocumented immigrants in Rhode Island. Fox News Digital reached out for comment to Sanchez but did not receive a response.
